A movie about the struggles of a 14-year-old Afro-Muslim girl, will be soon released in Ghana on the 12th of October 2019.

Thrust into Accra by circumstances, a 14 year old Amina, from Northern Ghana must endure life in the slums of Accra and find a way to get back home. Amina escapes her impending marriage to a 70-year-old farmer but finds herself on a truck being trafficked to Burkina Faso. A cruel twist of fate sees her rescued from the truck but flung into the bustling city of Accra. Amina has to choose between surviving in Accra and returning to her village and a marriage.

The film, which is critically acclaimed from Montieal Black Film Fest, Mama Africa Fest in Keyna and AFRIFF in Nigeria, is led by Ama K. Abebrese and Adjetey Anang, who posted about it excitedly on Instagram.
